Collection from the Geonim of the Family of the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach

Small collection - Piskei Halacha, letters and paper items handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, his father the great Gaon the Kabbalist Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Leib Auerbach and his son the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Dov Auerbach the Rav of Tiberius.

* Lengthy, typewritten Psak Halacha, with glosses and many corrections handwritten by Maran the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach. Psak Halacha on opening the door of an electric refrigerator on Sabbath, before the age of the Sabbath-adapted refrigerators.

One of the most important and brilliant Piskei Halacha of Maran the Posek the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach. On the leaves, significant erasures and markings, slight corrections and approx. ten lengthy glosses handwritten by Maran the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach.

At the beginning of the Psak, Maran the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach expressed his gratitude to his friend the Rav Dr. Ze'ev Lev for his help with the technical part of the essay. He then erased these lines. Most of the Psak Halacha was published, with considerable variations, in his Sefer Minchas Shlomo, p. 549.

* Letter by the heads of the Kol Torah Yeshiva of the Bayis VaGan neighborhood of Jerusalem, with a blessing for Passover of 1965, good news about the dedication of the new building of the yeshiva and a request for a generous donation.

The letter is signed by the Rashei Yeshiva the great Geonim Rabbi Baruch Kunstadt, who signed with a signature-like stamp, by Maran the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach and the secretary of the yeshiva Rabbi Ze'ev Lanf.

* Flyleaf signed by the great Gaon the Kabbalist Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Leib Auerbach, the Rosh Yeshiva of the Sha'ar HaShamayim Kabbalistic yeshiva, the grandson of the holy Rav the Toldos Yaakov Yosef of Ostroh. His famed son is Maran the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach.

The leaf is signed by him in Rashi script and with an addition of two different personal stamps 'Chaim Yehuda Leib Auerbach the grandson of the holy Tzaddik author of Sefer Toldos Yaakov Yosef ... a descendant of Rashi, Ram of the Sha'ar HaShamayim Yeshiva and Ram of the yeshiva of Lishkas HaRabbanim'.

* Fascinating postcard letter handwritten by the great Gaom Rabbi Avraham Dov Auerbach the Rav of Tiberius. Written to his brother-in-law the great Gaom Rabbi Chaim Shlomo Warner, with a request to obtain for him handmade Matzah from the Shomrei Emunim Chassidim or maybe from his brother-in-law the great Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Traeger, the son-in-law of his father the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach and the Rosh Yeshiva of Wilreik. Rabbi Avraham Dov notes that he does not insist on hand-grinding.
