ANTIQUE SIGNED PERSIAN ISFAHAN HAND KNOTTED RUG WITH 200+ KPSI – 10.2 x 14.1 (310cm x 429cm) - Antique signed Persian Isfahan rug, hand knotted in Iran of 100% natural wool on a cotton foundation. This rug is 90+ years old, has medium wool piles and is in excellent condition for its age, with knots per square inch in excess of 200+. Beautiful colors and made with excellent quality. The name of the artist is woven into the rug which is a sign of extraordinary craftmanship. No holes or repairs, plush and soft. This rug was acquired from a Virginia estate. Cleaned and ready to be enjoyed. Recent embargoes by the U.S. against Iranian goods should cause the value of these rugs to increase.
