THE WORKS OF HONORE BALZAC, UNIVERSITY EDITION - 15 VOLUMES – 1901 - Philadelphia. Published by Avril Publishing Company and are described as the University Edition.  15 of the first 16 volumes of the Complete Works of Balzac with Volume 5 is missing. Two stories per volume. All volumes have a gilded top edge and have illustrations with the protective papers in place. Bindings are tight with no pages are loose or missing. No owners bookplates or markings. Overall, this is a very nice set of antique books.
