ANTIQUE PERSIAN SARABAND MIR HAND KNOTTED RUNNER – 3.2 x 10.2 - Antique Persian Saraband Mir runner was hand knotted in Persia of 100% natural wool on a cotton foundation. This rug is 80+ years old, it has medium wool piles and is in excellent condition for its age. Beautiful colors with excellent quality, showing signs of abrash (fading) from the use of vegetable dyes. No holes or repairs, plush and soft with a gorgeous design. Clean and ready to be enjoyed. Recent embargoes by the U.S. against Iranian goods should cause the value of these rugs to increase.
