Mahogany Marble-Top Inlaid Server with Casters - This mahogany server is topped with a heavy, removable rectangular slab of variegated marble featuring a palette of reddish-brown, gray, cream, and white veining. The wooden carcass contains a two-door cabinet opening to a single interior compartment. The doors and the surrounding frame are decorated with fine, double-banded string inlay in a contrasting light wood, arranged in a dashed pattern. The piece is supported by four square tapered legs, each terminating in a small metal caster. Hardware consists of two cast metal drop-ring pulls with circular decorative backplates.
