Two Graduated Rectangular Lidded Woven Storage Baskets - This set includes two rectangular lidded storage baskets in graduated sizes. The smaller top basket is constructed of natural woven wicker, possibly willow or rattan, featuring a traditional weave and a braided fiber handle on the front face. It has a hinged lid that opens upward. The larger bottom basket is a storage chest made of a woven fiber cord in a dark olive-brown finish over a rigid frame, consistent with Lloyd Loom style construction. This larger piece is equipped with metal hinges and an internal fabric stay strap to support the lid when open. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are visible on either piece.
