A Pair of Whitall Tatum and Company Glass Apothecary Bottles - A pair of clear glass apothecary shelf bottles of square form with rounded corners and sloping shoulders. The bottles feature wide necks with ground interiors and matching mushroom-style ground glass stoppers. Each bottle is fitted with an under-glass label consisting of printed paper under a curved glass shield. The labels are decorated with a green and gold geometric border and stylized corner motifs. One label is printed with IPECAC. P. and the second is printed with AMM. BROM. The underside of each bottle is embossed with the mark W. T. & CO. arranged in an arc above U. S. A., identifying the manufacturer as Whitall Tatum and Company of Millville, New Jersey. May or may not have chips or cracks. Measured across the base, the bottles are 2.125 inches wide. The total height including the stopper is 6.75 inches.
