A Pair of Whitall Tatum and Company Glass Apothecary Jars with Vitrified Labels - This pair of matching square-form clear glass apothecary bottles features recessed front panels containing vitrified, reverse-painted glass labels. The white labels display black uppercase lettering reading ACACIA P. and AC. TARTAR. framed by gold-colored borders with stylized radiating motifs in the corners. Both jars include matching mushroom-shaped ground glass stoppers that fit into ground necks. Each base is embossed with circular text reading W. T. and CO. in the outer arc, U. S. A. in the inner arc, and PAT. JULY. 18. 1899 along the bottom arc, which identifies the manufacturer as Whitall Tatum and Company. May or may not have chips or cracks.
