Clear Glass Square-Shouldered Apothecary Jar with Stopper - A vintage clear glass apothecary or chemist's storage jar featuring a square footprint, rounded shoulders, and a wide mouth. The jar is equipped with a matching flat-topped disc style glass stopper with a ground glass plug designed for an airtight fit. Centered on the front is a recessed underglass label. The label is comprised of a white field decorated with stylized ray lines and a gold-toned border featuring a thin red interior pinstripe. The label is printed with the text MAGN. CARB. in black capital letters, representing the chemical Magnesii Carbonas (Magnesium Carbonate). No maker's marks, country of origin marks, or signatures are visible on the glass or the label.
