R.D. Schwarm Carved and Painted Blue-Winged Teal Duck Decoy Dated 1986 - A hand-carved and painted wooden duck decoy depicting a Blue-winged Teal drake. The piece is finished with a dark-toned head featuring a distinctive white crescent mark, a reddish-brown body with dark stippled patterns, and blue and white painted wing speculums. The underside is incised with the maker's signature R.D. SCHWARM and the date 2/1986. It is equipped with a lead ballast weight secured with screws and a metal eyelet at the breast holding a short length of knotted rope. Total length: 11.5 inches.
