American Carved and Painted Wood Rainbow Trout Ice Fishing Decoy - A vintage folk art ice fishing spearing decoy carved from wood and painted to represent a rainbow trout. The tapered body features a green and yellow ground decorated with a prominent reddish lateral stripe and numerous black spots. It is constructed with four inset metal fins and a fixed tail carved integrally with the body. A single metal screw eye is mounted to the dorsal surface for suspension.
