A Trio of Art Deco Style French Marble Doorstops - A trio of doorstops comprising two layered marble examples and one solid stone block. The two layered doorstops feature a tripartite construction consisting of a top layer of beveled reddish-brown brecciated marble, a central band of white marble, and a gray stone base. One of these is oriented vertically while the second is oriented horizontally. The third item is a solid rectangular block of cream-colored stone. This piece features incised markings on the front face, transcribed as a capital M followed by a star and a second capital M followed by a star (M* M*). The items appear to be constructed from bonded slabs and solid carved blocks.
