Vintage Farm Themed Novelty Chess Set Made in Taiwan - A complete vintage novelty chess set featuring a farm life theme, manufactured in Taiwan. The set includes thirty-two hand-painted cast resin figures. The pieces are divided into two opposing teams, one decorated in red and the other in teal-blue. The pieces represent characters and structures from rural life: Kings as farmers in overalls, Queens as farm wives with egg baskets, Bishops as scarecrows, Knights as brown horses, Rooks as grain silos, and Pawns as black and white pigs. The wooden board is an elongated octagonal shape with integrated carrying handles. The playing surface has alternating red and light blue squares. A white stylized mark, appearing as an X or hourglass shape inside a frame, is visible on the dark reddish-brown board frame.
