A Group of 5 US Washington Silver Quarters 1941-1959 - A group of US silver quarter dollars of the Washington design type, catalog reference KM# 164. The collection includes coins dated 1941, 1943, 1948, 1957, and 1959. Each specimen is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. Denver mint marks (D) are visible on the reverse of the 1941, 1943, and 1959 specimens below the olive branches. The 1948 and 1957 specimens lack mint marks, indicating production at the Philadelphia Mint. These coins are representative of the silver coinage often marketed by the Littleton Coin Company. These coins were produced under the 90% silver standard used for US quarters prior to 1965.
