Collection of 3 antique Romanian military medals, including:
1. antique Medal - Star of Romaina Medal - the last quarter of the 19th century, started to be awarded by Prince Carol with the independence of Romania after 1871. The medal is decorated in the shape of a Byzantine cross in dark blue enamel surrounded by horns Gilt gold and royal crown Inscription "IN FIDE SALUS" with a golden eagle in the center, on the reverse a gold gilded medallion with a crown and a Roman numeral I. Our medal, an I type for an officer, is the "Peace Medal" issued without midnight swords over the Byzantine cross. Part of the original high order will therefore be between 1877 and 1881. Ribbon wearing a burgundy with green stripes.
2. An antique medal of the Order of the Knights of the Romanian Crown, with a blue bandage and golden stripes. Enamel defects.
3. An antique medal, probably an appreciation signal for dedicated service, a red band with blue and white stripes. In very good condition.
