This book is the third edition of the work, published for the first time in 1998 under the same name "Architects of Moscow art Nouveau", and then two years later - already in illustrated form with the title "one Hundred architects of Moscow art Nouveau". In General, the text of the book repeats the edition of 2000, but bibliographies and lists of creative works of masters of Moscow art Nouveau supplemented with new information, gleaned mainly from recent publications. In addition, the necessary editorial and factual clarifications and corrections were made to the text. Improved and reference side of the book-it appeared a nominal index of customers. This addition will greatly simplify the use of the book and expand the scope of its possible application.

The desire to reveal the creative individuality of the architects of Moscow art Nouveau as vividly as possible predetermined the structure of the text. A General article is written about each of the architects, emphasizing his contribution to the development of the Moscow version of the style, and, as a rule, very briefly concerning the rest of the master's work. Estimated it was built in modern style, are characterized by their architectural and artistic characteristics of individual handwriting. This is followed by a chronological list of all currently known works and a complete bibliography, if possible, preceded by a list of reviewed authors of archival sources directly related to his biography. The lists of author's works intentionally include not only their Moscow works, but also unrealized projects, as well as buildings in St. Petersburg, large provincial cities of Russia and in the province. In sum, such information, in addition to historical, architectural and local lore interest, allow readers to fully imagine the biography of each master, to see his stylistic and professional evolution and to understand the real place occupied by Moscow orders in each of the represented creative destinies.
