Emilio Sala (1850 - 1910), signed, Important ceiling finish following the Tiepolo model, 19th - 20th centuries - Oil on canvas. Measurements without frame: 85 x 85 cm. Framed measurements: 101 x 101 cm. Emilio Sala followed the model of ”The Apotheosis of Hercules” by Giandomenico Tiepolo to create this beautiful round ceiling finish. We clearly see his influence in the use of red and blue in the clothing, as well as in the play of light and shadows that is generated in the clouds and sky.
