European Porcelain Napoleonic Soldier Figurines - Item/Description: Two vintage hand-painted porcelain military figurines depicting uniformed soldiers from the Napoleonic Wars. The larger figure depicts an officer in a dark blue coat, white breeches, and a high bearskin shako hat with a plume. Marked with blue crossed swords maker's mark, and ”656”. The smaller companion figure portrays an infantryman holding a rifle, stylized following mid-20th-century European export styles such as Capodimonte. Marked ”Germany” with a maker's mark on underside; stamped ”18”. Both figures feature gold gilt accents.
