Victorian A & D S Mother-of-Pearl Dessert Knives - Item/Description: Set of fifteen Allen & Darwin, Sheffield Victorian-era fruit or dessert knives featuring carved, iridescent mother-of-pearl handles. Varying sizes and blade shapes. Each knife is fitted with an intricate ferrule band molded with a repeating foliage motif. Marked with vertical stamps into the metal of the blade featuring a crown symbol followed by: ”A & D S”. Material: Mother-of-Pearl, Silver-Plate Dimensions: Length: 7 3/4-9 1/4” Condition: Signs of age, use, and wear include patina, oxidation, micro-scratching.
