Prattware Ceramic Lid, Great Exhibition of 1851 - Item/Description: Victorian Prattware multi-color transfer-printed ceramic pot lid depicting an interior view of the Crystal Palace during the Great Exhibition of 1851, complete with the famous central crystal fountain and visitors in period dress. Circular plaque is mounted inside a square ebonized and gilt gesso composite frame with a velvet liner. Framed under glass.
