Reads in part: A. PAOLETTI, PINXT (meaning painted by). Engraver: J. Greatbach. Set in an ornate gesso and gilt wood compo Victorian-style swept frame. Material: Steel Engraving on Paper, Wood, Gilt Composition Dimensions: Image size: Height: 8 1/4”; Width: 10 1/8”. Framed: Height: 12 5/8”; Width: 14 1/2” Condition: Signs of age and wear include chipping, loss, surface scratches and scuffing to frame. Discoloration, foxing. Art not examined out of frame.
