Set in period correct gilt compo frame. Mary Araluen Elizabeth Anne Henniker-Heaton was born on November 26, 1904. She was the daughter of Sir John Henniker-Heaton, 2nd Baronet, and a descendant of the British aristocracy. Later in life, she became notable as a competitive chess player, an Ambulance Corps member during WWII, and a co-founder/registrar of the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama in London.
