JPM Mexico Sterling Turquoise Brooch Pendant Pair - Item/Description: Signed pair of Sterling Silver and inlaid turquoise stone brooch pendants by renowned Taxco Mexico artisan, Juventino Perez Marquez. Known for his Mid-Century and Modernist designs, his signature works often feature pre-Columbian Aztec motifs and scenes combined with geometric and streamlined designs. Each circular pin has scalloped edges and is inlaid with crushed vivid blue turquoise stone. One depicts a seated warrior or royal figure while the other an Aztec / Mayan calendar medallion. Roll-over pin clasp closure and fixed soldered bale allowing pieces to be worn as pendants or brooches. Hallmarked: Hecho En Mexico 925 JPM.
