Sterling Taxco Mexico Brooch Two Piece Pendant Lot - Item/Description: Southwestern Taxco Mexico pin pendant lot. Two studio artisan round necklace pendant pins crafted in Sterling Silver. Deeply hand-carved in Sterling Silver with anodized backgrounds. Abstract Aztec design and sunburst swirl design. Roll-over pin clasp closures. Fixed soldered curved bales. The smaller brooch pendant is circular and carved with an abstract cut-out design. Anodized background. Aztec design. Roll-over pin closure. Curved, soldered fixed bale. Hallmarked (partially worn): TI-36 Mex 925 Material: Sterling Silver Dimensions: Length:1 7/8”; Width: 1 7/8”; approximately 29.6 grams Condition: Very Good. Free of dents, damage, repair. Pin closure in good working order: Opens smoothly and closes securely. Bale patent and soldered securely. Signs of age, use, and wear including scratches, scuffs, patina. The larger pin pendant is hand-forged in Sterling Silver as a Sunburst with a swirling center. Aztec Pendant Brooch. Anodized background. Straight pin roll-over clasp. Fixed soldered bale. Hallmarked: Plata Fuentes 925, Hecho en Taxco Mexico 925. Material: Sterling Silver Dimensions: Length: 2”; Width: 2”; approximately 24.2 grams Condition: Very Good. Free of dents, dings, repair. Signs of age, use and wear including scratches, scuffs, dark patina. Roll over lever on clasp is missing, as such the pin is currently in the closed position. Will require repair.
