Rob Livingston Navajo Sterling Bolo Tie - Item/Description: Signed R L Southwestern bolo tie lariat by Navajo silversmith, Rob Livingston. Hand-crafted Sterling Silver trapezoid shaped slide with scalloped edges. Bezel set with three azure blue genuine Kingman turquoise stone nuggets and one red coral stone. Scalloped settings. Stones are nestled within a bed of raised leaves, flowers and berries. Three dimensional, nature scene. Rope accent border. Backing of slide has hinged metal clip that secures the black leather cord. Tapered tube shaped silver tips with ball finials. Masterful workmanship. Hallmarked: R.L. Sterling (in script). Material: Sterling Silver, Turquoise, Coral, Leather Dimensions: Length: 2”; Width: 1 1/2”; approximately 34 grams (total weight with leather bolo) Condition: Good. Silver free of repair. Stones intact and free of chips, cracks. Secure in settings. Signs of age, use, and wear including two dents to body of one terminal cap and bend to tip, deep patina. Areas of loss to leather cord. Hinged clasp opens and closes smoothly. Remnants of hand-writing in green marker. We have not attempted to remove same or polish.
