Dancing Nymphs or Fruhlingslust features two female dancers moving across a grass painted oval plinth. Base with green underglaze Rosenthal Germany stamp. Incised with artist's name and model number (H. Meisel / 956). Designed by Hugo Meisel (1887-1966), a highly regarded German sculptor and ceramicist.
