Antique German Nuremberg Strongbox, Locked - Item/Description: Antique miniature iron strongbox. Small, heavy chest, popular from the 16th to 18th centuries, particularly in Germany, and were used to securely store valuables. Masterful craftsmanship and sophisticated security engineering of its time. Designed for maximum protection, it features five distinct locking mechanisms, all activated simultaneously by a single key. This box was opened, photographed and closed. The key has been lost and we are unable to re-open the box. Being sold as-is: closed.
