Featuring two figures clad in black and white Harlequin attire standing before a deep, vanishing perspective of classical arches and a reflecting pool. Signed and dated lower right. Denis Matsievsky (born 1977, Moscow) is a Russian painter and designer, celebrated for his works blending traditional Byzantine religious iconography with Impressionist and classical painting techniques. He graduated from the Moscow State Art University (Stroganov Academy) and is an active member of the Moscow Union of Artists.
