German Wind-Up Schuco Clown Juggler Toy with Key - Item/Description: Vintage Schuco Germany #965 Clown Juggler clockwork mechanical tin wind-up toy with key. Featuring a lithographed tinplate core covered in felt clothing, a painted face, and a plastic top hat. When wound using a specialty key, the clockwork mechanism causes the clown to move while spinning a wire array of colorful celluloid juggling balls. One foot stamped ”Schuco Patent” and the other ”Made in Germany”. Keyhole in his back. (Heinrich Muller). Material: Felt, Tin, Celluloid Dimensions: Length: 2 3/4”; Width: 3”; Height: 4 3/4” Condition: Moves when wound. Signs of age and wear include surface scratches and wear to metal.
