Antique Austrian Bronze Lion Inkwell Desk Set - This set depicts a nature scene of a noble lion surveying his domain. The inkwell and handle of the letter opener are cleverly fashioned to resemble a tree trunk and branch. We cannot confirm the age but believe this piece to be an early 20th century piece. The base is marked ”Austria, FAK, 2685.” Overall good condition with a very nice patina to the bronze. There is surface wear to the lion and letter opener tip and ink residue in the glass well. The letter opener may not be original to the bronze inkwell but were found together as one set. Dimensions: 7” L x 3” W x 3.5” H.
