Hans Arnold Zeller Landscape Oil Painting - Signed original Hans Zeller Swiss Chalet Landscape oil painting on Board. Framed. Features a bucolic country scene of a farmhouse on a hilltop with an autumnal backdrop of trees and mountains. Hans Arnold Zeller (1897-1983) was a Swiss artist noted for his landscapes and portraits of local folk. The painting is signed on the right lower right corner, ”Hans Zeller 1963.” Framed approximately 24” W x 21 1/2 H. Image size: 16”W x 13” H. The back of the frame bears the artist's original paper sticker bearing handwriting in German which references the Hoher Kasten and Kamor mountains in Appenzell, Switzerland and a date of October 1963. There is also additional writing in script on the top right back, also in Swiss-German, which were not able to discern. Please note the back of the frame is missing one of four of the stabilizing pieces of wood, and as such the board is somewhat loose and will need to be re-enforced.
