French Dore & Onyx Orb Mantle Clock - Item/Description: Vincent & Cie French Gilt Bronze Cherub Orb Clock. Porcelain clock face partially reads: 45 rue de belleville. Movement number 72 / 4447 / 86. Bears 1855 Gold Medal stamp mark. On brass base. Material: Bronze, onyx Dimensions: Length: 11 1/2”; Width: 8”; Height: 22”. Condition: Surface wear. Holes in base and on top putti. Clock keeps time when wound. Eventually stops, may be in need of service or repair. Bell is included but not attached. Clock stricks on the 1 and 1/2 hour. No pendulum. Age: 19th / 20th Century.
