Boris Schatz Three Piece Bronze Framed Plaque - Item/Description: Boris Schatz (1866-1932) Three Piece Bronze Reliefs Framed Wall Plaque Judaica. Masterfully carved images of rabbinic figures involved in Jewish ritual. Entitled in Hebrew: Lulav; Havdalah and El Moleh Rachamim. Each bear the artist's signature in Hebrew. Mounted on red velvet with gilt wood matte; encased in decorative painted antiqued gilt wood frame. Schatz was a Lithuanian born Jewish artist and sculptor. He settled in Israel, founded the Bezalel School of Art in Jerusalem and became known as the ”Father of Israeli Art.” Material: Bronze. Dimensions: Frame 14 1/4”L x 9 1/2”W.
