Czechoslovakian Peking Glass Brass Necklace - Item/Description: Masterpiece Art Deco Czechoslovakian lavaliere necklace fashioned from brass, polished Peking glass beads in green and deep rose threaded onto a delicate chain, interspersed by filigree balls. Ornate filigree medallion drop has intricate geometric design of enamel in green and blue, slices of Peking glass surrounding a center bezel set oval cabochon. Necklace is attached at either end to an ornate filigree bale. O-ring clasp. Unmarked. (Max Neiger; Neiger Brothers; Czech jewelry; Egyptoan Revival). Material: Brass, Glass, Enamel. Dimensions: Length: 24”. Drop with bale 2 1/2”L x 1 1/4”W. Condition: Very Good. Surface and age wear. Beads are free of cracks, minor abraded areas to some bead ends at drill holes. Original patina to brass. O-ring closes but spring mechanism has fatigued, and does not snap back and forth. Age: Circa 1920s. Provenance: Private Estate.
