Art Deco Bronze Elk Inkwell - Item/Description: Incredible 3-D bronze figural inkwell fashioned as a nature scene. A howling adult elk with full antlers, one riveted and moves. Relief image of a female elk adorns the hinged lid. Entire surface decorated with flora and rock motif. Includes a glass insert. Incised date on bottom: 1939. Material: Bronze. Dimensions: Height: 2 1/2”; Width: 5 1/2”; Depth: 4 5/8” Condition: Very Good. Surface and age wear, patina. Antler with rivet slightly loose. Glass jar intact, flea bites around rim.
