Vintage Ainsley Brass Cherub Hurricane Lamp - Item/Description: Lovely, ornate parlor table lamp made of heavy brass piercework. Decorated with panels of cherubs in high relief. Originally a kerosene lamp, and converted to electric. Glass hurricane chimney; opaque cream glass shade (possibly a replacement). Rim stamped: Key Stone. Underside of base marked: Ainsley Lamp. Two pronged plug. Hubbell switch. Material: Brass, Glass. Dimensions: Base 15”H x 8 1/2”W. Glass shade: 7”H x 10”W. Condition: Very Good. No chips or cracks to glass; several air bubbles at rim of hurricane. Surface wear including scratches, heavy patina to base. Shade may not be original. In working condition! Age: 19th Century.
