Ornate gilt wood frame with beaded decorations and raised composite scrollwork in high relief. Signed lower left: J. Sedlacek. Joseph Anton Sedlacek (1789–1845) was an Austrian artist known for portrait painting. Ornamental metal plaque on frame reads: J. Sedalek.
