Antique F&B Sterling Guilloche Enamel Compact - Item/Description: Antique Victorian Signed F&B Foster & Bailey Sterling Guilloche Enamel Mirrored Compact. Lovely sky blue and white enamel compact features a branch of pink roses on the hinged lid. Sun ray design on base. Rim hallmarked: F&S Sterling. Inside engraved: W A S. Remnants of powder remain. Powder puff, marked “Arden” included, but is not original to piece. Foster & Bailey Bailey was an American silversmith company that operated between the years of 1878 and 1898. Material: Sterling Silver, Guilloche Enamel. Dimensions: 2” diameter across x 1/2” deep. Condition: Good. Surface wear and enamel loss around bottom rim. Age: Circa 1920s-1930s.
