Antique Inlaid Marquetry Mixed Wood Dresser Box - Item/Description: Exquisite marquetry wood dresser, trinket box. Decorated on all sides and borders with geometric patterns done in mixed woods. Incredible, hand-crafted workmanship; including on inner lid. Mother of Pearl sliver accents. Double hinged lid; original hardware. Satin lining applied with adhesive glue. Unmarked. Material: Wood, Mother of Pearl. Dimensions: Length: 9 1/2”; Width: 6”; Depth: 5 3/4”; Height: 2 3/8 ”. Condition: Very Good. Marquetry overall intact. Linear split in top right corner panel. Tiny chip to back right exterior corner. Slight wiggle to lid; some loosening to hinges. Staining/discoloration to satin lining. Age: Early 20th Century. Provenance: Private Estate.
