William Luberoff Gouache - Train Station Scene - Item/Description: Original watercolor gouache on paper of a train station by illustration artist, William Luberoff (1920-2002). Dynamic, busy scene of railroad car and passengers travelers rushing and waving. Signed on lower right: Luberoff. It is signed by the artist at the lower right corner. William Luberoff was a New York based illustrator who began his career in the 1930s as a free-lance illustrator for pulp magazines. He went on to become a celebrated artist who designed over 60 covers for Columbia Magazine and was did illustrations for Christian themed art. Material: Gouache, paper.
