Picasso Exhibition Poster Galerie Beyeler - Bale - Item/Description: Poster for 1967 Exhibition at Galerie Beyeler - Bale by Atelier Mourlot c. 1966. Features Picasso's ”Femme a la montre”. Poster created by Henri Deschamps (French, 1898-1990). Signed in plate upper right: Picasso / Lower right: Henri Deschamps Lith. / Lower center: Mourlot. Henri Deschamps was a French printmaker, best known for his collaborative work with major Modernish artists such as Pablo Picasso (1881-1973), Georges Braque, and René Magritte. He was able to take their paintings and adjust them into lithographs, making original prints at the Atelier Mourlot, a famed commercial print shop located in Paris. Deschamps’ own work often depicted landscapes of the French countryside in a loose, Impressionist-based style that mainly utilized primary colors.
