Antique Victorian Cameo Pin Lot - Item/Description: Two Victorian hand-carved cameo pin brooches, one in lava and one shell. The lava cameo is hand-carved in high relief and depicts the bust of a beautiful woman with flowing hair. Set into a gold filled double frame with flower accents. Straight pin closure, old C clasp. Unmarked. Material: Gold filled or plated, Lava stone. Dimensions: Length: 1 1/2”; Width: 1 1/4”; approximately 13.3 grams. Condition: Overall good. Surface use and wear includes chipping to nose, scratches, areas of oxidation to back of setting, some bending to inner frame at back, areas of oxidation, old solder. Bends to pin and c- clasp. Age: 19th Century Provenance: Private Estate The hand carved shell cameo depicts a neoclassical man in profile. Bezel set in an open back, oval gold frame. Hinged pin closure, old C clasp. Unmarked. Material: Unmarked 9 Ct Gold Dimensions: Length: 1 1/8”; Width: 1”; approximately 11.9 grams Condition: Overall good. Cameo free of chips or cracks, features intact.
