Bookends, ”Awaiting The Prey” - Item/Description: Jennings Brothers bronzed bookends featuring a Native American Indian scout. ”Awaiting The Prey” Native American sculpture features a crouching, hunting figure, holding his bow with his dog by his side, Each marked JB 1524. Jennings Brothers was a metalware company in Bridgeport, Connecticut from 1890-1953. Material: Bronze Clad hollow copper. Bases are spelter. Dimensions: Length: 5 1/4”; Width: 4 3/4”; Height: 6 1/2” Condition: Signs of surface wear and scratches. One felt bottom is partially loose, the other is missing.
