The Petticoat Affair, also known as the Peggy Eaton Affair, was a political scandal that took place from 1829 to 1831. It involved President Andrew Jackson, La Triodad features two Cherubs, one holding a cigar box and the other tobacco leaves, on either side of a sitting queen.
