Antique Czech Ladies Mirrored Compact Necessaire - Item/Description: Ornate antique necessaire compact lipstick decorative accessory. Masterful Czechoslovakian workmanship. Lacy filigree silver plated metal mounting with remnants of gilt wash. Surface of compact has outstanding detail floral repousse work on one side with green Peking glass cabochon jewels, the other side has geometric engine turning. Push button opening to hinged. The compact has a mirror chamber behind which is a for a disc of rouge, still present and bright pink, covered by its cotton applicator. Opposite the mirror is a face powder filter, below which is the chamber for powder, traces of which remain. No visible hallmarks. Attached to a paper link chain is the decorative lipstick holder, with a lacy filigree body, domed lacy top and a twist up lipstick, cabochon Peking glass accent and sparkly emerald crystal accents. Unmarked. Free of dents, damage, repair. Peking glass stones are free of chips or cracks. All crystals intact. Surface use and age wear including heavy patina, tarnish, finish loss. Compact opens smoothly and closes crisply. Twist mechanism of lipstick in good working order. Box in good condition.
