1934 Cardinals Tigers World Series Scrapbook - Item/Description: Pair of 1934 Cardinals and Tigers Multi-Signed World Series Baseball Fan Scrapbooks. The scrapbooks include combined 200 pages of newspaper clippings affixed to ledger by young baseball fan. Books are multi-signed and multiple times by HOF Charlie Gehringer (9x in Volume One; 5x in Volume Two), Bill Rogell, Elden Auker and Ray Hayworth. Series pitted the Hank Greenberg led Detroit Tigers and HOF Joe ”Ducky” Medwick led St. Louis Cardinals. Game featured 10 HOF Players including Dizzy Dean, Leo Durocher, Frankie Frisch, Jesse Haines, Joe Medwick, Dazzy Vance, Hank Greenberg, Mickey Cochrane, Charlie Gehringer, and Goose Goslin. Series marked the last time teams were managed by two Hall of Famers, Frisch and Cochrane. The ”Gashouse Gang” beat the Tigers in 7 games to secure the World Series Title.
