Tribal Huichol Beaded Ram Sculpture - Item/Description: Colorful ironwood figural ram sculpture. Large ram with curved horns strikes a dramatic pose standing on a hand-carved wood rock ledge. Huichol Indian bead art features Chaquiras (small colored beads) on carved wood. Fabulous workmanship and design. Entire surface covered in colorful beads forming bright tribal patterns. Unknown artist. No noticeable signature. The Huichol people are an indigenous tribe living in secluded settlements within Mexico’s Sierra Madre mountains.
