Antique Moroccan Bone Trinket Box - Item/Description: Superb antique Moroccan bone jewelry trinket box. Crafted from bone, copper, brass and set resin stones. Rectangular shaped casket box. Copper frame and base inlaid with panels of bone set down into brass frames. Hinged lid with inset panels of bone set laid down in geometric shapes including diamonds and trapezoids. Died accent panels in black and yellow. Deep red bezel set resin ”gemstones” add a pop of color. Burgundy velvet interior. Four bone disc and brass feet. Copper base. Unsigned. Beautiful workmanship and design. Material: Bone, copper, brass, resin Dimensions: Length: 6 1/2”; Width: 4 1/4”; Height: 3” Condition: Good. Panels intact, free of chips. Colors vivid. Brass frame and body intact. Hinged lid opens smoothly, closes securely. Signs of age, use and surface wear including shallow dings to base, scratches, scuffs to bone panels, crazing, discoloration, irregularities in bone, linear scratches/fissures that run along edge of one panel, oxidation and patina to metals.
