Zvi Raphaeli - Judaica Oil Painting - Item/Description: Original oil painting features religious scene depicting a rabbis in traditional Jewish religious garb. Signed lower left. Zvi Raphaeli, (Israeli, 1924-2005) painter and rabbi, educated in Paris from age 3. He studied at Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. He was a member of the French resistance during WW II. He lived in Israel and the USA. Material: Oil on canvas adhered to board Dimensions: Image size: Height: 29 1/2”; Width: 28 1/2”.
