Item/Description: Pair of two-light wall sconces with mountings by Louis-Jean-Sylvestre Majorelle. Each of the four shades are signed Daum Nancy. Includes all parts shown in photographs. Purchased from Macklowe Gallery NYC in 1985.<BR>Louis-Jean-Sylvestre Majorelle, usually known as Louis Majorelle (1859 – 1926) was a renowned Art Nouveau era French decorator and furniture designer who manufactured his own designs, in the French tradition of the ebeniste. <BR><BR>Material: Glass, wood, painted iron <BR><BR>Dimensions: Length: 15"; Width: 13".
